Congratulations to Lando, he did a very good lap with amazing Rascasse-Noghes.

If Lando has his qualy mojo back, he's going to be very hard to beat. There's no easy lap in Monaco no matter what car you have. This was spectacular.
It doesn't turn.

Unless McLaren goes on a spree of competitive cars in the next couple of years, that Ayrton Senna record will take a long time to get beaten.

Yes it will require Verstappen style dominance to match Senna's record, but Hunt could be reached this season [-o<

McLaren 1st and 3rd… The Hare and the Tortoise… Let Lando go from the get go, Piastri to manage the pack… Build a gap Pit Stop gap, manage from there… Try to build enough of a gap to Leclerc in that first stint to cover a potential undercut… Yes, you may sacrifice the 1-2, but you ensure first… Also, depending on how much of a lap time delta you can build between Lando and Oscar, you can release Oscar mid stint (with potentially a decent amount of free air if LEC follows Lando’s pace).

McLaren have a decent amount of control over the potential outcome in the race

dont think you can really pre-plan strategy, they will just have to get it right as it unfurls. I think to go hell for leather at start would at least help against the likes of Mercedes who are out of position

With how difficult it is to overtake in Monaco… They can go fast with Lando, slow with Oscar and create enough of a gap to have a free pit stop.

They could, but they wont. Oscar isnt going to give Lando a free stop and i dont think the team would ask him to

You mean the most dominant car in history like the RB18 and RB19 and a non existent second driver.

Indeed, this is very unlikely, They'll manage the pace but without going flat out, but hopefully not 2024 Leclerc levels of management.
