I am not sure the 2026 floor is going to be flat.
If that is floor for 2026, that is flat floor + diffuser.

its pretty much back to 2008 aero.... oh how history repeats itself. we need refueling back too to further shrink the cars and prevent a snoozefest on same tyre strats
But here say that will still be venturi floor but reduced
?

Was there any reporting around the rear wheel experiment tried in FP1 to mimic McL's solution?

Marko's quoted by The Race that RB have matched McL tyre performance.

we have good race car, some of you need to clam down acting like its end of the world on every saturday. its been like this since last year but it gets really annoying to read some of your comments acting like its the worst thing ever and bickring..
If you accept that Ferrari is not competing for either championship and fighting over 3rd or 4th their race car is definitely very strong. Compared to the Williams for example it’s extremely competitive, so if that’s your bar then it’s looking really good.

It’s all about perspective!

The driver's complaints about brakes on Friday suggests to me that it didn't go as smoothly as they'd like

He should have been given the penalty. He pushed Albon off and awarded Hamilton the position. Stupid move to say the least. Zero respect on track.

Albon being the gentleman and keeping his head high. But the fact is that Charles with his stubborness cost him atleast 4th place. The radio of Charles says it all.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

LEC was ahead at the apex. Any driver would have done the same. In fact Toyota did that to Ferrari during the WEC race here.

Yes, that my thought too. Hopefully, AR will update if they have a stream this week.

Leclerc should've been double stacked. He was right behind Hamilton. But the pitstop itself takes all of 2 seconds to be done.

He should've waited and gone for the soft tires. Could've been in Albon place or better if this was done.

He did fight valiantly with the tires that were done. But he needs somebody to tell him the bigger picture.

Just saw the video. He's told about remaining laps (17) and having new softs. Sees Lewis pull in, decides to stay out instead of waiting behind him.

This one's on Leclerc. But he has to tell his engineer to come up with all possible scenarios, if he's not able to think all of that in the moment.

Boy has talent, needs a guide.
It was touch and go. Difficult for him and Brian to see all the moving pieces.
I was thinking he should come in, but didnt know where he would have came out.
And the soft tyres seemed like they would be shot in less than 10 laps.

He raced well but has reason to be dissapointed with the big picture. The team is way off Redbull, McLaren and I still feel Mercedes. Russell is known for his gambling and I just have a feeling the Merc could have been setup too much towards qualifying.
Even with that Russell had decent pace but was in traffic. So was Antonelli behind Hadjaar.
Williams and Mercedes are hurdles before Charles and Lewis can even dream about another podium muchless a win.
For Sure!!

I think Monaco can be okay for Charles if they lower the car. Lewis may suffer there judgeing by his Jeddah issues. Imola has smoother and longer corners which wont demand much dancing on a knife edge so he went okay there.
Monaco him and Charles will need to dance on the edge of a carbon nano tube to get any decent points.
Williams will be strong and Vcarb who have good low speed traction.
For Sure!!

Am I the only one of who was impressed by how the race engineers handled the radio. They had the info ready to answer the drivers and were clear in communication. No checking with the team first.

Just to bad they didn't gamble on Leclercs tires. After the SC went in there were only 10 laps left to race.
