Well, I'll hold off, someone else might post what you were initially looking for. I haven't got any good questions in my mind right now anyway :)

I tiny little vague birdy is telling me it's something to do with the brakes, I heard that once or something, but I can't quite fish out the full fact. If it's even a fact at all.

The Shinkansen E7 series that you have pictured come in 12 car sets that are numbered from "F1" onwards.

I really hope that isn't the link you are looking for ...

Edit : It also has full active suspension.

Ok, so one off of the top of my head ... erm ...

What logo did McLaren add to their livery as revenge for a rival poaching a potential sponsor?
(please give the year and the relevance of the logo)

That car in the early 90's (the only high nose design in 93) was called the ugly duckling, compared tot the other cars.

Today the whole grid.
F1 car width now 2.0m (same as 1993-1997). Lets go crazy and bring the 2.2m cars back (<1992).

Squashed hedgehog sticker either side of the MP4/8 cockpit, in 1993 in deference to the Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog advertising on the Williams and the tally of skull and crossed bones on the FW-15C rear wing for every win it scored. But I remember Mclaren were the ones who turned Sega down, as they didnt want cartoon graphics on the side of the sleek minimalistic MP4/8 livery.

My turn... The last ever manual car to race in F1. Team, car, race and year.

Australia 1995 the Forti FG-01 (which really was an updated version of the 1992 Fondmetal car.) had a manual gearbox, and was unsuccessfully trialed with a semi-automatic, which was scrapped until 1996.
