it ruined many race IMO. F1 should get rid if that thing and make another attempt to reduce the influence of the aero.

I dont know about you guys but i have the impression that RB only races with one driver. :| Webber is nowhere,he looks so unmotivated, bored i would say...His DNF today childish...Hes not a match for RBR sadly and i guess its better to move his butt over for some kid to have a shot at a brighter future.

As for the race, was okay, kind of reminded me a bit of FIA GT1/GT3 (which i love to watch), mostly because of the HAM/SCH battles.

Had he kept the inside line he would have kept Vettel behind for both Lesmos
And then used his top end to keep Vettel behind which would not have been able to get past.
:?
A very poor defense by Alonso but yet again a absolutely fantastic start by him.
Not the fact that Vettel and Hamilton got bad starts but just look at the room he had :)

For the whole race?
You do know that there was a 20km/h difference between the Ferrari and RBR?

Notice how hard it was for Hamilton to get past Schumi.
The truth will come out...

Crossing the finish line Button was 7.4 seconds ahead of Alonso (he needed 17 turns after overtaking), Hamilton was 15.2 seconds ahead of Schumacher (LH needed 25 laps for this distance). In each case the contrahents pitted almost the sam lap, so left aside that.
So Button was 0.44 s faster a lap and Hamilton was 0.61 s faster a lap.

So I don't see your point.

EDIT: Of course I meant lap 17, not turn 17.

DRS and the multitude of pitstops have ruined 2 races for Schumi. Monza and Canada; Schumi arguably delivered podium performances. DRS robbed him in Canada; and pitstops arguably robbed him of it here.

As I said, there are many other examples, but this is not the "Is Alonso a complete driver – Yes, he is – No, he isn't" thread.

rubbish! most of the time Fred take close to 100% of what he could of the day. He knows very well where the limit of the car is and how much to push.

A brilliant performance from Michael. I think races like this and Spa would add a great deal of motivation and excitement for him, and if given better car next year who knows?

well, Fred says that Shu is the only driver he fears. I am not sure if he can fight for the title, but certainly, given a competitive car he will be a serious treat...
