Crossing the finish line Button was 7.4 seconds ahead of Alonso (he needed 17 turns after overtaking), Hamilton was 15.2 seconds ahead of Schumacher (LH needed 25 laps for this distance). In each case the contrahents pitted almost the sam lap, so left aside that.
So Button was 0.44 s faster a lap and Hamilton was 0.61 s faster a lap.
So I don't see your point.
