They weren't pushing in the beginning though. With their insane tire management their plan seems to have been a one-stop. What we need is NOR doing something to catch PIA. Then we will be back.

yeah mcl just too fast and easy on tyres and bortoleto was in max's way for more than a lap.

We tried something to catch the McLaren's. It was well worth the shot. Better than giving up by doing the same strat as them. Forced theri hand into a two stopper.

If you had told me before the race that after 52 laps we would be 1.5s behind Lando, I'd have taken it.

yeah it was good but bottom line is that we are nowhere near as good as them with tyre mgmt, they were faster with older tyres...

They should waited for some laps and then have fresher tyres then Mclaren. Worth a try would say.
