No words. You don't even expect much, but it's just disappointing ...

The car has been twitchy since FP3. Did the team go back to the long sidepods? There was too much oversteer in turn 1 and the middle sector.

I don't think they changed aero setup since friday (I might be wrong). Only 0.6s improvement from friday to quali is very bad.

Alonso kept losing the rear on turns 8 and 9. Always had to come off the throttle and turn the steering the other way to catch it. I'm not sure the if the wind changed directions from yesterday to today but I can see where if the wind was from the west yesterday and changed to from the South today, how that could effect turns 8 and 9.

Technically they had to cause both drivers alternated running long and short sidepods in one of the FPs

Aston always run with more power and less fuel on fridays. Alonso said already it. We will suffer like a hell next week in Monza and Baku . AMR25 is terrible with low downforce.

Best picture from the side from today I could find but it's enough to confirm they ran the short sidepods.

Car just wasn’t in the window at all.

His Q2 time was enough to split the Ferraris for 7th. Unsure what happened.

Disappointing qualifying, our race pace is always considerably worse than quali pace, will do well to hold onto the points I guess with Ant just behind.

Not surprising. Don't understand why people let themselves fool by practice times every time.

But what happened to the rain that was supposed to be all over Zandvoort for the whole weekend?

Being almost 3 tenths slower in q3 than in q2 is disappointing. Havent seen the lap so not sure if it was traffic or car snaps etc
