From the comments something was wrong with his car that they will correct, so let's see how FP3 looks.
The ride height issue is biting them hard on this circuit.
For Sure!!

Did anyone manage to get a breakdown of FP2 long run comparisons?

I’ve read that Max was pretty good on softs and Lando did a short stint on medium at the end that looked very fast, but also that Charles was within 0.1 of Max soft run too?

I just can’t see any of the actual data.

Here's the long runs from FP2:

Norris averaged a 20.2 on his first stint on softs, Verstappen a 20.0 but on mediums and less laps. Hamilton and Leclerc both averaged a 20.6 on mediums.

Leclerc's soft run was his second run, averaging a 20.3 compared to Max's 19.9. Norris' second stint on the mediums was in the 18s but only did 4 laps.

I think I saw Lico also on paddock there on tv, along with Jerome, we don't really see them during race weekend.

I just watched the F2 race...and deg is a huge factor here...the 19th placed driver finished 2nd after giving up track position during a safety car. He made up 17 places in 4 laps

Why is Charles doing his first run Q2 on fresh soft when he has an 1 lap old set, and not saving two new soft for Q3.

Ferrari mis-managed LEC's quali by sending him out a 2nd time in both Q1 and Q2 to waste 2 new sets on which he did 1 and 2 laps. This is the first real mistake since australia I think...

Half a second…sheesh.

McLaren are over the hills and far away. If it excites you, then maybe Mercedes will have deg issues. But yeah.

Is that why he only did one lap in Q3?
