I get the feeling Niki Lauda is the new Nick Fry...
Bob Bell may be helping with the engine integration, but he is still the TD right?
Maybe they have hired Lauda in order to fire him when everything goes wrong. And suddenly they have a Red Bull teammarcush. wrote:funny that aabar have sold their Daimler shares ....but still are on nikis cap-maybe they prepare for bad times... Exactly so. So we now know no one is actually in charge. That certainly matches up with everything we've heard so far.FoxHound wrote:These arent kings....these are dukes with set dominions.
Hard to see any of RBR, McL, Ferrari & Lotus losing too much ground next year. Given all the teams' current form as the season hits the homestretch, Sauber has a better chance of starting off next year ahead of Merc than Merc's chances of gaining on any of the top 4 teams.Mika1 wrote:Same here. A race win and a few podiums would be good.dren wrote:As much as I am a fan of this team, I wouldn't expect anything close to a title. I'd wish for podiums, but don't expect them. Lotus will likely be very good next year, along with Ferrari, Mclaren and Red Bull.
Odd that Dr. Z thinks they need a new clown to stir things up, considering the original continues to do what he does best.dren wrote:I get the feeling Niki Lauda is the new Nick Fry...
An embarrassment to F1, to a 7 WDC and to fans as well. I'm just not sure how the Merc board are keeping this team. Very strange.Dragonfly wrote:They are closing the distance to mcLaren
