there you go, Max didn't have to give the place back to George because he lost control of the car and pushed Max outside

disaster by Red Bull

I've been saying for a very long time. Time to move on. This team doesn't deserve him. Look at their 2nd driver as a marker for what kind of cars do they design.
He left his heart on the track today being the only one that is able to come anywhere near those two orange rocketships let alone put them under pressure and he gets back what from his team?
Enough is enough really.

Eh well, I am not surprised by Max’s behavior. He has always “snapped” when things havent gone his way.

The only thing I always disliked about him. I disagree with people defending it as part of the “winning mentality” too.

He has been really succesful in spite of it, not because of it.

The most talented driver on the grid, but unfortunately you can always rely on him doing some shenanigans the moment things dont look favorable.

He didnt go off track, russell caused a collision that pushed him off the track
Russell didn’t cause a collision, though it looked liked he kinda forced Max off the track, but remember Max was struggling with grip because of Redbull’s outrageous decision to put him on the hards.

In turn 5, Max just sent it on the inside way far back and made contact with George for no reason, because he knows the hard tyres are simply not going to give him the confidence to retake the position so he tried something… unfairly.

This P10 was on both the team and driver.
Read the FIA desicion. Says Russell lost control, collided and forced max off. So he would not have had to give it back.

This time I agree with you.

Max is clearly way bigger than the RB team this year and they owe all their success to him this year while they are only slowing him and being a burden. He has carried the whole team.

The car they designed make Tsunoda and Lawson look like they don't belong in F1 when we know they are fine drivers.

Without Max they would have 6 points or something in the championship.

Russell caused a collision.

The P10 was only on the team. The person who picked the hard tyre should be fired. That's above Ferrari level of self destruction.

And with each decision like that, they lose Max more.
It wasn’t caused by Russell. Max knew he wasn’t going to have the grip into turn 5 and no one other than Redbull fans can deny that this did seem deliberate from Verstappen and it looked as if Max himself didn’t deny that it wasn’t.

Max was P3 and all he had to do was the limit damage and could’ve been at least P5-P6. But that 10 second penalty he caused didn’t do him or the team any favors.
Max was on his line and Russel tyre came to hit Max's tyre. Therefore Russell caused a collision.

If Max was in Leclerc or Russell position, he would have been penalized two times.

Who care honestly between P5-6 or P10? Max is only in it for podiums. The rest is nothing since the championship is over.
Just got more information!

There is no argument and no debate you’re trying to come up with here.

Max was told by the team to let George so they avoid the initial penalty and therefore that’s why Max sent it on the inside thinking it was some sort of opportunity and hit George because he misjudged it, and I will say this for the 3rd time as to why:

“HE DID NOT HAVE THE GRIP ON THE HARDS!”

It’s on BOTH, the driver and team End of story!

Today will prove to be an overreaction by many. The car is not "fixed" yet in order to compete in 50C track temperatures. The setup was compromised to protect the rear tires from overheating. Still the 3 stopper was a good idea, hindered slightly by many lapped cars ignoring blue flags. The final safety car was just bad luck. The key to winning a championship is having a fast car, not the noise and strategy gambles. Let's see what they get to with the rear wheel corner work for Canada.

For the usual Max critics, have you tried writing him a letter? Your words won't get to him if you only post them here.

There are no drivers error here.

Max was collided by Russell and his own team decided to gift the place to Russell, despite the fact that Russell was at fault and that Max was right to not give him the place.

Maw was 100% right, and the team was wrong. Russell caused the collision. After that Max was so pissed that he gave Russell a tast of his own medicine. You can just say that Max tried to avenge himself from an injustice. And is team is guilty in that fact on all accounts.

Without Red Bull though…Max would have 0 championships

It’s true that he’s carrying Red Bull since this point last year! But everyone has its deeps of performance at some point…you can’t be winning forever!

Look at Hamilton after 2021…his teams have been nowhere! But he isn’t going around smashing into others on purpose…

Hamilton has no motivation left. This isn't the case of Max. If Hamilton can't be mad when his team sacrifice him for Leclerc then that means he should retire.

He isn't competing anymore. I hope Max never lose the fire.

I think the penalty was unjustified. There's no proof that Verstappen intentionally hit Russell, and the accident was so minor, it didn't cause any danger or damage, that it shouldn't worth a penalty.

I'm sorry but you'd have to be wilfully ignorant or deliberately obtuse to suggest it wasn't intentional.

But what's the proof? What if he just changed his mind, and started to defend the line?

The FIA is harsher on Max than on anybody else.

Leclerc got no penalty for dangerous driving and colliding with Max on the straight. Russell got no penalty for "losing the control of his car" and colliding with Max pushing him into the escape zone.

It was obviously intentional
