I´m amazed the guy still thinks people will let him just stroll around on the outside of a corner.
Even more amazed he never thinks that when he´s the guy on the inside.
He is always messy in wheel to wheel racing. So not surprising.

Ferrari(or should i say Vettel, because Raikkonen...) was really F... fast this weekend, definitely could of won by shadowing, that engine seemed really powerful when Rosberg had DRS on Kimi(btw Kimi look at what Verstappen did and see how it's done).
I don't even think the undercut is that big of a deal in Canada, first lap is really bad.

Rosberg was stupid in T1, then a lot of car problems, DRS not working at times, engine temps apparently.

Williams was also really good here, fantastic result for Bottas.

The Renault upgrade was no disaster, but it isn't a game changer either.
And again the Church of Max is accepting new members, convert now =D>

Taking nothing away from Bottas because he did really well, but his presence on the podium kind of shows that one stop was optimum.

I don't know why Ferrari gave up track position again, just as they did in Australia.

Nevertheless, championship closing up and even Seb had almost halved his gap to the front in last three races, so that's something.

As good as eyesight :) . It wasn't about keeping position, putting team-mate off track was all that mattered, wasn't even looking at Vettel. Hamilton's dirty driving and bad start costing Mercedes points again. What's the excuse this time, software from Aus? Then car and other problems for NR- they're doing best RB's '10 impression.

- Rosberg looked a bit afraid of Verstappen doing something stupid, still it was up to him, he should have dived inside earlier (last or previous attempt) and forced space rule. BTW all those "lines experts" from Spain should watch Verstappen's.

- Vettel didn't do much impression on fresher softs. I'm not sure if it was a bad strategy, looked alright and the car was quick, RB behind pace wise as predicted

- Bottas better than either of RB drivers, Ricciardo - mistakes and mediocre pace, Red Bull's media fiction of self promotion (best drivers) lasts exactly one between races sequence.

As good as eyesight, definitely, as in Hamilton was just trying to make the corner. He wouldn't have gotten around turn 2 without the line he took, and Nico knew this when he went in. Why? Because he did the same thing to Hamilton in 2014.

Yes, Bottas shows 1 stop was ideal, but his car could keep up with Kimi's Ferrari and the Red Bulls nonetheless.

All he needs is another Hamilton - Rosberg encounter

And to see wether Ferrari can keep Mercedes honest on other tracks.

I wonder why Ferrari did not put Soft on Vettel's first pit stop so that to not give the certainty to rivals that they had to pit again (and keep the possibility to go to the end with a pit stop since at the end I've not seen any issue with the soft).

I honestly don't think there was much between a 2 stop and a 1 stop. Mercedes (HAM) still has 1-2 tenths over Ferrari (VET) in both race pace and qualifying pace. That made the end result.
