They are running the same suspension as last year. Hard to fault the team for a suspension issue, when they haven't seen it on either car in the last 40 races plus testing.
Just the way it failed made me think maybe someone forgot to tighten a screw

So is the pop up, cause of a bump it hit, or "cause it broke"? My money is on "cause it broke", then there was nothing left to restrain the tire from rising. So small bump, small bump,
small bump, small bump, break, big rise from tire.
Yeah I think that’s right. The bump he hit only exposed the failure that had already been set in motion

Drugovich will test Pirelli's 2026 tires again this week at Monza. I think Alonso and Stroll can't wait to get rid of this car lol. The other teams participating in the test session will use their regular drivers.

Russel is not signed the contract with Mercedes. Also the way Alonso Garage working on race week is not good. seeing from out side the AMR protecting Stroll. Alonso still behind Stroll in point. I am still speculating(it is my own prediction) that Alonso will not be driving for 2026 with AMR. He is just sticking with the team and can be detached any time soon ...

Alonso said “we were using the kerbs the same all weekend, so I think it’s bad luck that we ended up having to retire.”

It is 5th DNF this year… Alpine 2022 season shadow

It would have been either P7 or P8 if not DNF, the race pace seems positive and definitely an improvement
The new front wing surely has provided better balance and improvements.

Yeah such a shame. Nowadays a suspension failure is extremely rare…

Do you think after 22 seasons, Alonso, with a contract signed for 2026, just a few months away from finally driving a Newey's car, will he simply give up? He may receive confirmation that he is being sabotaged or whatever, he would never miss this opportunity, and Aston not will change Alonso for Russel. I think Alonso still racing in 2027 and retired end of that year and Aston brings Verstappen to 2028

Don't say "seeing from out side the AMR protecting Stroll" . What you need to say is "as seen by the Stroll conspiracy theorist team".

I am an Alonso fan and I do not believe that there is any conspiracy against Alonso. It's just the way it goes sometimes.
