I bet Bottas doesn't think 2 stops was the right strategy.giantfan10 wrote:LOVE the sneak peek into vettel and hamilton chatting about the race.....Hamilton just did a better job today in clean air and made his tires last... Ferrari had the right strategy... every competitive car made 2 stops except hamilton.... bravo to Hamilton for making his tires last.with all that graining every car had
Simple. They probably had their setup tuned towards wet. There was a great anticipation of a wet race and Red Bulls put their money on that.anzx wrote:I wonder what happend to the redbulls? Destroying tires in 10 laps. Riccardo's perfomance was one of the worst I've ever seen from him.
I think Ricciardo was at that point quite agitated so that could explain the scruffy driving. I think the interteambattle is getting to him.GPR-A wrote:Simple. I highly doubt they had a wet setup... they are just not as fast as Merc or Ferrari on regular tracks....GPR-A wrote:Simple. They probably had their setup tuned towards wet. Reminds me of his Torro Rosso days (Ricciardo) excellent/amazing one lap pace, scrappy races compared to Vergne at the time.Edax wrote:

In the interview he seemed quite upset about Verstappen holding him up. And in truth it did put him out of position for his pitstop. Would he have come out in front of Raikonnen his race could have been a lot different.
But all kudos to Verstappen. Didn't put a wheel wrong this race.
This was really unlucky, the rim got stuck behind the brake drums/ducts.. (how do you call them?)Restomaniac wrote:Another pit stop error by Red Bull. Again for Ric, whoever he owes money too he had better pay up.
Best thing since Montoya's "deer".Restomaniac wrote:The great seagull hunt of 2016
