It looked like VES destroyed ROS' tires in two laps time, very very nice driving!

Looks like HAM's got the (almost usual) upper hand on ROS again. Like he looses confidence whenever HAM is around.

I think Ferrari planned this two stop before the race, but should have switched with Vettel's great start. He did a great job in holding back Lewis, but in clean air, Ham's just flying away.

Also, Verstappens defensive move just totally offset's Rosberg momentum.

Ferrari had the right strategy... every competitive car made 2 stops except hamilton.... bravo to Hamilton for making his tires last.with all that graining every car had
I bet Bottas doesn't think 2 stops was the right strategy.

I wonder what happend to the redbulls? Destroying tires in 10 laps. Riccardo's perfomance was one of the worst I've ever seen from him.

Simple. They probably had their setup tuned towards wet. There was a great anticipation of a wet race and Red Bulls put their money on that.

It looks Williams had the fastest pit stop again.

So what did we learn today?
Ferrari have closed the gap .
Red Bull with their supposed 5 tenths gain and continuous self promotion are also rans right where they belong 4th and 7th
Graining is the key word in this grand prix.
Baku with hot temperatures and sun should be a performance treat : )...
Mercedes,Ferrari.................Williams,red bull.. then the rest in Baku

Another pit stop error by Red Bull. Again for Ric, whoever he owes money too he had better pay up.

I think Ricciardo was at that point quite agitated so that could explain the scruffy driving. I think the interteambattle is getting to him.

In the interview he seemed quite upset about Verstappen holding him up. And in truth it did put him out of position for his pitstop. Would he have come out in front of Raikonnen his race could have been a lot different.

But all kudos to Verstappen. Didn't put a wheel wrong this race.

I highly doubt they had a wet setup... they are just not as fast as Merc or Ferrari on regular tracks....
Thats the same setup they qualified 4th and fifth with and parc ferme stops them from changing anything overnight.

Reminds me of his Torro Rosso days (Ricciardo) excellent/amazing one lap pace, scrappy races compared to Vergne at the time.

When Verstappen truly get to grips with the team and the car, it wil be interessting to see how this teammate battle pans out.

This was really unlucky, the rim got stuck behind the brake drums/ducts.. (how do you call them?)
