So, anybody going to complain about Merc using Bottas as rear gunner and destroying his race?
I hate team orders/manipulation.
Ferrari should have let a clearly quicker Raikkonen have a pop at Bottas too.
From what do you take that? Vettel was clearly faster after the overtake.
You can't really judge as Kimi turn down everything. Furthermore on the incident with Bottas we can ear from the onboard Kimi letting Vettel trought instead of overtaking both.

Everyone comparing Bottas to Kimi, please stop doing it. Everyone knows Kimi is the rear gunner, meanwhile everyone at Mercedes claims Bottas is not. Bottas said on Thursday that there is no plan for him to play the support role, yet today happened.

I'm a Ferrari and Vettel fan but they just weren't good enough
You can't expect to win when you start third and fourth on a track where overtaking is nearly impossible in a championship where the best cars a basically equal.
That's why I said that Vettel will be happy with second
Always find the gap then use it.

I do feel for Bottas. After driving so well for so long, the tyres just wouldn't last and he lost out big time. Real shame.
Yeah, and that is with Bottas saying on Thursday that there is no plan for him to play the support role.
The question is: would Mercedes have done the same thing had Bottas been in the lead with Hamilton behind? I think the answer at this point in the season is "yes".

Bottas couldn't have done anything other than what he did. He had to pit when he did to cover kimi. Then tried to make the tyres last until the end. What could he/merc have done different? ?
I disagree, Merc panicked. He could have easily go 3-5 laps further, maybe even more.

And what about Ferrari using Kimi as a second man ? He could finish atleast second today
The point I made, has got nothing to do with Ferrari. So don't quote me for something I am not saying. Still I will clarify, Kimi lost out at the start, and the reason he finished third, was because of his two stop strategy and not fifth, like Bottas.
Yes.

It's called understeer
Lol ok you believe that.
The stewards agree that it's a racing incident. How are you going to revive your belief now?
Nope, my opinion is my opinion

Stop him one more time to cover Raikkonen again? He could have finished 3rd at least. But they used him to slow Vettel down.

YES. And they shouldn't pit him so early just to attract Bottas and let Vettel behind Lewis.
Indeed.

No. Pitting him would give up 2nd. What they did almost paid off, he nearly had 2nd.

Clumsy from Bottas with a last ditch effort to keep his nose in it. But you also have to wonder why on earth Vettel pinched him like that. The place was his by a mile even if he gave a car and a half up the inside. We see time and time again outside line on that corner is great for overtaking.
Typical VET shave, but BOT could not let go. Should not have tried.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.
