I think Ferrari a more likely partner for Vettel than McLaren. Hamilton is just a smite older than him, and I don't see him going anywhere else.
But if MercedesGP gets into the swing of things, Vettel would be their ideal candidate, no doubt.

If RB are trying to repeat what Ferrari did with Schumacher, they may want to take note that Ferrari built a team with a driver who was an experienced double world champion at that stage.
Vettel has speed no doubt, however until he gains race craft, experience, and at least one big shunt to his name, IMO I think its unwise for RB to take this approach or for Ferrari to even consider him.
