Hopefully Piastri absorbed his bad luck via the adoption.

I was not sure if Charles would have even been in the front row after Q2. 1-3 is as close to a perfect qualy session as any Ferrari fan would have hoped for today. Carlos may jump Piastri at the start if he is bold.

The difficult bit is over now, beautifully executed by Leclerc. Now praying for one well executed launch and one good pitstop tomorrow!

Ah, i would say difficult part is tomorrow. Charles now has to face the ultimate opponent, his own team.

Is he the blocker or the blockee?

Yeah, our maestro made me nervous too. But it made the pole more enjoyable.

Blocker, likely penalty sadly, he got away last minute but remains to be seen what the stewards decide and I think it's likely he's getting a +3.

A Leclerc win and Max P5 would bring Leclerc to around 33 pts behind Verstappen. That's one Ver DNF into Leclerc win away from a very close championship.

Assuming this mediocre Red Bull form persists, we might actually legitimately be in with a hope of a championship fight, although it's very unlikely that will actually happen because I'm sure Red Bull will get back on top of things soon.

Great job by the team, they didn't give in to the great pace demonstrated yesterday and kept pushing. Sainz' recovery is better than I expected, it felt like his struggles carried over to FP3, but he got it together at the right time for a great Q3 lap.

Ultimately, Ferrari was the best car overall today in the end, but we were right to expect great leaps from RB and McLaren by Q3. It was nowhere near Leclerc's to lose, but there was a bit of a margin over McLaren, no doubt.

Team did really good so far, both drivers, the wall, engineer in the factory and the team in the garage. This is the level they need to keep up in order to challenge for the title in 2026, if they get a good thing going with the PU

Points are awarded tomorrow and they need to keep the A game up until that chequered flag :)
And they call it a stall. A STALL!
