Almost all of them seemed to be falling foul of track limits on their final runs there, unless it was a trick of the camera. Yet no times deleted when they said it would be so....
The fools at the FIA changed the track limits boundary from the white line to the whole red/white curb. Complete nonsense
Ah, well that could explain why I thought everyone was breaching the rules. I swear they said before the session it was the white line.

All it proves is that they do not make it easy for themselves. Sometimes it’s the white line and sometimes it’s not.

Just make it the white line ALL THE TIME and offer a lot more clarity and consistency.

This is it.

In one hand - Vettel.. for god sake... when he had a chance to drop Leclerc from Q3 and being 10th himself... he AGAIN did a mistake. This guy is just low, if he would play Assetto Corsa he wouldn't reach Consistency even on 90 :D

In the other hand - everything we can do is just cross fingers for Verstappen, cause without him we will have another BORING season with double Mercedes Quali by Quali and Race by Race. Just delete Mercedes from the grid... and we will have totally equal pace and so amazing races...

I wouldn’t be surprised if Mclaren will start fighting for wins next year. Their future looks so much brighter than Ferrari at least.

As a Mclaren fan I hope you are right, but everything will be reset in 2022 so anything can happen

Did Verstappen make his best (only?) Q2 time in mediums? So he has to start on mediums?

I’d love it if McLaren got up there again. Anyone see the Crown Prince calling Lando while he was live on TV and make the rest of them wait?

Also, another great performance from George Russell. How special can he be?

Yes.
Yes he is on opposite strategy, similar to last year. Also Vetel can opt to start with (M) since he qualified 11th, and this can spice up the race tomorrow

Yes he did 2 flying laps on them and will have less grip off the line for tomorrow, just makes sense for Red Bull to try something different given the big performance gap.

Lando will easily launch pass him before turn 1, the mclaren starts are ridiculous.

It would be FANTASTIC if Lando could get ahead of Verstappen and maybe one of the Mercs.

At least in a real race his internet won’t cut out....

How? Even if he would overtake them on start - his car is slower. This is how F1 looks like - if your car is slower it doesn't matter how fast driver is. So sorry but it win'y happen :(

Because it makes the start of the race much more exciting than a procession. Obviously he won’t stay there for a lap or two at the most but it’ll really liven things up for a bit.

Cheer up.
