Two US F1 team trailers have been put up for sale on eBay. The trailers were originally purchased from Brawn GP, and were planned to be used for the 2010 season. However, when USF1 ran into difficulties just weeks before the start of the season, which were discribed by the team as "serious economic and funding challenges", they were unable to make the grid in Bahrain.

I hate working on PC's now that I have changed over to Apple, and I have more experience on PC's than most people. If gaming was the only factor, I might "think different".
I still don't feel the need to hate PC's publicly, like Apple haters do. I used to be an Apple hater, but since having a machine that is 6.5 inches square, 2 inches high, and runs completely silent, with an OS included in the price, I see little need for a PC unless you need the most current fastest processor/vid card to play games. PC video cards are way more overpriced.
I can get a PC cheaper that is more powerful, but then I need to buy XP/Vista and it's world of hurt. Why? So I can play the newest games, that I just play on my 360 anyways. rFactor runs awesome on my mini, in 1900x1200. Crysis? Not so much, but it is at least playable. Not bad for a machine that "can't play games".
Eventually, people will realize that hating a PC brand is about as sensible as hating Ford because yer pappy has a Chevy. They are all computers, and I am curious to why you are capable of HATING an inanimate object, or it's parent company.
Now I know that talking about Apple vs PC is an old debate, and we don't need top start it up here. But I do wonder what makes someone hate a brand so much.
D-Bags in coffee shop windows trying to let you know they have a Mac are the unfortunate side effect of machines that are more expensive.
I like macs and pcs for totally different reasons, equally, like any smart IT person.
But seriously, if anyone can tell me why it's worth hating, I'm all for listening in a PM.
EDIT : Seriously if you want to respond don't do it in the forum, because we might as well start debating abortion. It's just that I trust users opinions on this site, and am curious.
Before I do anything I ask myself “Would an idiot do that?” And if the answer is yes, I do not do that thing. - Dwight Schrute
I could care less about the Mac vs. PC arguments and such. I could see using Apple as another platform to promote the F1 team. Imagine a commercial...
"I'm a Mac...I'm a PC...<dude walks into frame>...and I'm <insert name>, driver for the Apple USF1." Continue on about being fast and efficient, and then introduce a masked driver in a PC car and have the PC car "blue screen" on track. It would make for a funny commercial is all.
The main body and rear wing look quite Brawn like, except on the front wing which is quite similar to the Red Bull.
"It could be done manually. It would take quite a while, but it could be done. There is however a much more efficient and accurate way of getting the data. Men with lasers." Wing Commander Andy Green
I, for one, am thinking it's just some demo-images or a very, very old iteration, as I saw no sign of a DDD. Nothing worthy to base any predictions on, imho.
Anderson and Hurley did not give me a particularly good feeling about the team's progress...lots of babble, no real substance to anything they were saying.
If I were SpeedTV, I'd be wanting to do a series of half-hour features on the progress of the new team. If I were the team, I would want such a thing, to generate buzz and publicity...
It'll be interesting to see how things progress. My feeling is, there is a steep learning curve ahead of them, they've yet to encounter half the problems that lie ahead, and a test car in late fall is going to be a very difficult proposition for them. Even if they achieve all that and more, nothing is guaranteeing anying remotely resembling a fast car.
My feeling is, based on the Campos interview over at Autosport, the 3 new teams are going to take a multi-million dollar bath, and just wind up being swallowed up by larger corporations once the auto industry bounces back.

An interesting video as I always wondered what Mr Varsha looked like...
Ken Anderson has a deficit of charisma it would seem and the lack of any response to the driver, car, colourscheme etc questions makes me worried for my colonial cousins over the water..
If you knew nothing of F1 you would expect that the USA would be easily able to produce a winning F1 team and car. Something here is not quite settling well with me.
Looking forwards to the test hack launch and to see which aged driver they take on....JV?
I'd never heard him speak before. You are exceedingly polite.
I loved the way the presenter thought the CFD picture is the future livery
I saw this live last Sunday, and I had myself convinced that it didn't really happen, and then you had to bring it up. Now I'm feeling confusion and shame. I watched to see this interview thinking they might actually share some information, and instead I get Ken Anderson trying to sedate America and what's her name asking about the color of the car. In her defense, that is the extent to which Nascar teams are allowed to "design" their cars.
Earlier in the program she was showing off her shoes (no kidding).
You guys are harsh! They really don't have much to give the media. What do you guys expect? For them to spill every single detail they have about the very small amount of info they can give? Ken Anderson was probably never interviewed about this kind of stuff in his past, and I'd probably be just as clammy to others asking me questions. I will admit I'm not so excited about their plans as I was before, simply due to them not offering any info. But theat's probably because they don't really have any.
Krista Voda is a good presenter, but not very experienced in F1 and what they do. Cut the lady some slack.
