In matters such as this, praying is just a euphemism for begging

Let us not forget the Davis Cup while we are at it :-"

And moto2 and 125... But "win" is a bit harsh on Lorenzo isn't it? He drove a fantastic year still!

To an extent, yes but there was no competition. Anyway, to F1 matters....

Naah, they aren't really spanish. Colin Kolles, Geoff Willis, none of them sound too spanish. Furthermore, they are moving to Cologne, according to rumours. Rumours also say that Carabante wants to sell.

Just kidding. When a gurney flap is your only update fore the whole year you can't be doing very well.

Anyway, as part of "not-Alonso", they still have a decent chance at the Championship. In a weird kind of way, that is.
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.

Especially that the Austrian team appear to have made a dogs dinner of closing the WDC.

It's their drivers who've made a dog's dinner of closing the championship, which is why I wouldn't be too keen on that driver lineup next season. Alonso has had some unreliability and made mistakes and he's leading so I don't buy that excuse for Vettel.

Very good point, especially considering that the word "Hispania" refers to the entire Iberian penninsula, which includes Portugal, Spain, Andorra and Gibralta ... I've never met a Portugese person who takes kindly to being called Spanish, in much the same way that mistaking a New Zealander for an Aussie tends get a rather terse response ;)

Well, so far I really didn't care about Alonso whether he is playing good or wrong but since today I am going to join his non-supporters for his gestures towards Petrov after the finish of Abu Dhabi GP...

Cue non-sporting behaviour from Alonso.

Totally agree. I could see Hamilton thinking that Kubica should have just let him go as they weren't racing for position, but Petrov did nothing wrong. As much as I have disliked the way Vettel has behaved at times this season, having seen Alonso behave like that I'm now glad that they finished in the order they did.

Who didn't expect that of Alonso? That's his trademark. The guy who complains about his Massa when they were running 1-2, is sure to expect Petrov to move over. It is who he is.
