Indeed USF1 has applied at the request of the FOTA. See below:xpensive wrote:I read that USF1 have applied for membership in FOTA.
I thought you needed a car for that, an F1 car preferably?
WTF did you expect him to say?xpensive wrote:That was a most polite interview, what did Windsor say really, that everything is fine and Chad Hurley is a great guy?
pretty sure in the states if you get a license you can drive any type of transmission you want. you just have to be patient when learning to drive stick. I passed my road test using a manual vw jetta. when the police officer came in she asked if I was sure I wanted to take the test with that car. lol. passed with flying colors.King Six wrote:When it comes to all the top Indy Car/NASCAR American drivers you have to look at their results. When it comes to "Road Courses" (what they call non-oval circuits aka proper racing circuits) they suck hard. Including that chick Patrick. Infact NASCAR teams have specialist drivers for the non-oval courses. Surely as a racing driver you should have to learn how to race around a real track before mastering the art of the oval course (don't get me wrong, I think some people tend to oversimply oval courses/racing).
It's like getting a manual transmission license over an automatic one. With a manual license you can drive both types, but with auto, only auto.
