Fitting that it would be a Renault causing a non-Alonso championship.

Except without the Renaults he still should have passed Rosberg.

may I join you gentlemen ? a bit late in the day perhaps

having been a follower of the renault team since they were the toleman team I used to be quite a fan of alonso , one of the best drivers on the grid

but little by little I have seen him in his true colours , his behaviour at McL , claiming his crashgate victory as a good win , same for germany this year ,and the final straw today his behavior to petrov who drove the wheels off his car to stay ahead [ and keep his seat ? ]

I admit I would have liked to see webber win the WDC , but vettel is a fine champion

but the most important thing for me ...it wasn't alonso

Yes it showed his true character and that he is not a sportsman. Whilst he had just lost the championship, that is not excuse. Several drivers have lost championships in similar ways but don't take it out on the rookie that they couldn't pass. I'm glad he didn't win as Alonso surely would not have deserved it. At the end of the year, the right guy won - at last! :D

What a performance by team Not-Alonso, securing the top six positions that they needed to guarantee a clear championship win ... the finale brought laughs (at Schumacher) and tears (from Vettel) but most of all, we all got to see Alonso's massive talent brought to the fore.

another happy not alonso supporter here! Whoa, did Vitaly drive the wheels off that car today. I'll bet the Renault boys figured it into their plans to screw those turncoat cowards in Red. Heres to another 30yrs without a Ferrari championship

Should that not be:

Andrea Stella: Right Fernando, er, Petrov, Kubica, Rosberg, Button, Hamilton and Vettel are faster than you. Confirm you understood this message.

Alonso: Petrov's going to get such a fist shaking!! Grrrr!!
