What? You mean like park the ferrari in Hamilton's pit stall? Alonso is barely a threat
How this is going to come back and bite you on the behind!

Mst have been because of her Maxim interview, where she claimed that Hamilton had been speeding in Switzerland, and on many other occassions. Bad PR!

NOW he is going to notice the lack of a manager
who's going to interview the new applicants for the job ?
to the optimist a glass is half full ; to the pessimist a glass is half empty ; to the F1 engineer the glass is twice as big as it needs to be

well, not exactly right, no? I remember when Alonso complained when Fisicale overtook him instead of protecting his back from MS, everyone was pointing to Alonso...... Then Fisi was fighting for nothing, while Button is fighting for the WDC..
dannyteasdale wrote: And To be fair they didnt fix the car, it was never the best car last year. Apart from Monza when by his own admission he said he was pushing the car to its limit to catch the Brawns, He wasnt happy with a 3rd place, but when you consider he didnt have much to lose, ie the WDC, it wasnt the worst choice he made. Which other times to he blow it?

Why was Aus weird? Because he raced well? Well all this seasons races must be weird then!
not the fastest but probably some races 2nd fastest, some even fastest (Hungary). He blew it in Monaco quali, come to mind. Aus is far from typical track and many strange races have happened. And should I remind you LH was caught lying big time.... :D
I think we should agree to disagree on his one.

and its Fisichella .. Just for the record.
Ignore his trollish ways, he can't even get names and initials right, never mind facts.

why is so? I am not trolling, like it or not. Read my post carefully and tell me which point is not correct? Besides Fisi's name spelling....

I was trying to not post again on this page, but if you insist...

I'm not going to get into a debate with you because we both believe different things.

In my opinion, Hamilton is not desperate, he is purely racing his ass off ... and do you know why he 'appears' desperate? Because thats his driving style.

Jenson on the other hand doesnt throw the car about and doesnt make it easy to see if hes desperate on not. These guys are challenging for the pinnacle of motorsports top prize, so in some respects they are desperate, but in the way this thread is, they aren't.

Agree with me or not, that is the end of our discussion.

We're going to shake hands and walk our seperate ways :D

Yes, they are all desperate in a way that us mere mortals can barely comprehend. Some show it openly, others don't, but it is there in all of them

"To be honest, I think I get better every year," Hamilton told The Guardian.

"That's not meant to sound like me blowing smoke up my arse but you get experienced. My first year was amazing but there were so many holes I fell down. If I went back to 2007 now I'd blitz that year no problem. I really would because I've had that experience.
Ha ha, this says something about what he thinks of his competitors and what level this guy is on. Most people like to forget or downplay that 2007 was his rookie year. Alonso had an advantage in terms of knowing the ropes of F1 being a 2 time champ and all.
This says Hamilton is confident in his ability, and gives him a psychological edge. I really think it's going to be difficult for him to stay of the podium this year.
For Sure!!

And what?

People forget that Alonso is Spanish. Hamilton is English. How is it the whole world apart from England can see this?
Both great drivers but if you are going to compare the two, lets have fair comparison. Kinda like comparing and Italian in a Ferrari going against an experienced Foreigner, even if there is equal treatment there will be more equal treatment going one side than the other.
And to create a legend, first you have to destroy one. Mclaren could have had this whole thing engineered.
Alonso was the undisputed no1 when he signed, it is in his right to fell agrieved that Mclaren treated him as an equal to a rookie. How would any other double world champion react? Beyond belief some feel this is solely an Alonso trait because it is not!

Anyone see Hamiltons face in Turkey when he and Button were dicing?
"What was that about" he asked Button before realising the cameras were on him.

Hamilton did brilliantly in his debut year but he didnt BEAT Alonso.
Equally alsonso had rather a tough time in the second half of that year with all the mud flinging going on inside the team.
In time it will all out, and Alosno has been very respectful in terms of Hamilton and Mclaren. He said when the time is right he will say what he has to say.

Lewis on the other hand must be given huge respect for the way he pushed a double world champ to the wire. The 2007 championship was Mclaren's IMO and only an FIA stitch up saw to it that Ferrari won with kimi. (contoversial but plausible)

Lets see things for what they are if you are going to have a fanboi thread otherwise its will descend into farce as they all do!

Some times I think Alonso is his own worse enemy. The rest of this year, he now has to worry that any penalty from the FIA maybe harsher than it needs to be, not a good thing for Alonso to speak out like he did in Spain and trash the ruling body.

Ron on Alonso:
"Alonso didn't expect Hamilton to be that competitive in his first year," he told the official Formula One website.

"He told me at the beginning that it was my decision to sign a rookie like Hamilton, but that it could cost me the Constructors' Championship. Fernando was calculating everything, but not that Lewis would challenge him. That affected him massively."
he thought Lewis wouldn't score enough points to get the constructors.

I hope all this back and forth going on since the valencia race doesn't affect Lewis' or Alonso's job. There has been a lot of words thrown around in the past week or so.
For Sure!!
