isn't a good sign. That means the team is still making 'fine-tune aero changes', while the elephant in the room is mechanical. To what avail, I wonder, when the this venturi floor business is going to be dead in a few months. Perhaps some learnings ? or what other reason to spend precious resouces, with only 9 races remaining and WDC/WCC out of reach anyway ?
This also means the "nice lowDF balance" found in Silverstone/Spa is again going to be rejigged and has to be reworked over FP1-FP2. The only reason RB21/Max didn't do well (be in the competitive ballpark as McLaren) in those two races is because the race director decided to do the exact opposite of what Redbull expected him to, and the race-trim wing/DF choices went completely wrong. That 'swert spot lowDF balance' has to be found again. Redbull are shooting themselves in the foot repeatedly. New floor in race 15 in September ? Not even Kick Sauber are performing such stunts.
