Looks like they've just cut off the illegal part and remade the trailing edge to comply.
Some of these mods/repair/strengthening etc are very rudimentary. Some things that are used are far more crudely made than outside observers would believe.
Didn't they also make one floor out of two in recent years, here at Austria, when both chassis were crashed in FP and floor damage was significant ?
Some teams keep a log of additional resin and other materials for chassis to chart unintentional weight gain if they've had much accident damage in season.
