And stop lying. Here and in the Canada GP thread. It is disgraceful.
1) The stewards report states that Button's move was what caused the accident.
The stewards did not say that. Nothing of the sort. Produce a link to any report where they said that. There is none.

But have it your way. You have proven to be inexhaustible, so I'll heed my own advice and refrain from engaging you again.

There's no arguing with liars. Ciao.

Further, the Stewards have concluded that it is reasonable to believe that Button was not aware of Hamilton's position to his left.

"Therefore, the Stewards decide that this was a 'racing incident' and have taken no further action."
therefore being a conditional statement – it was defined as a racing incident conditional on whether it was reasonable to believe that button was aware of hamilton's position or not. If it had not been reasonable to believe this, it would not have been classed as a racing incident ;)

Exactly! Button would have been black flagged if he ever did so knowingly.

"He certainly should not drive the way he is and he sets a bad example" - Sir Stirling Moss.

Perhaps he is just another racist, right?!

"Sets a bad example?" LOL philandering Old Stirling is no angel.

It seems The "old guard" doesn't like what Hamilton brings to Formula 1. They want him out of Formula 1 right now. If you know your history, this type of thing has happened in many sports.

I think Hamilton is ushering in a new style and expression of Formula 1 and Ole' Nicky and Sterling do not like it!

but when you go as far to say the guy is going to get people killed, just to suit your agenda of banning the guy from the sport.
This is F1 and as safe as they have made it...safer that this writer likes...it is still possible to kill yourself or others.

ok lets put it another way, you are driving in the slow lane on a motorway. the car in front in the fast lane is indicating he is going into the slow lane ( yes f1 cars dont have indicators but button would follow the racing line ) he is travelling 5 mph slower than you. to you brake let him in to the slow lane or keep the power down and hope he sees you?
now imagine ye don't have wipers and its raining.

And he wasn't wrong there. Senna was infamous for getting past someone, even if it meant ramming them of the track. I remember watching Brundle speacking about Senna in their F3 days. He pretty much said that Senna would get past someone by any means possible so most competitors put up not too much of fight lest they get rammed of the track.

I think this is the first time that Stirling Moss has critisized a British driver. He is usually so patriotic that it's painful to read his comments.

Lets put it another way – there isn't a fast lane and a slow lane!

The reason you don't undertake on a motorway is that there is a well defined rule that you pass on the faster side. This is not true on a race track.

Analogy fail.

And yet Senna is remembered (famously, not infamously) for being a great racer.

Which gets us to the point about Hamilton – whether he's a great racer or a bully depends mostly on whether you're a Prost, Mansel or Senna fan (sorry, I mean Alonso, Vettel or Hamilton). Which is rather the point about this thread. Lauda is clearly not a Hamilton fan – but demanding that he be banned from the sport for being dangerous is ludicrous. Remember, we're talking about the man who's been involved in exactly 1 person other than himself exiting a grand prix in 3 and a half years of racing.
