Would any F1 driver have done any different? I sincerely doubt it. If 'desparate' means fighting to the end until you're forced to concede a place, then perhaps youre right. Personally, I'd feel cheated if they did any less.....

Ovetake someone?
There is a pit lane speed limiter, it was impossible to overtake Vettel. Both of them were going at the pit lane speed or less. Overtaking means you will have to go faster and that would mean you would be above the pit lane limit.

I hope that it's very clear to the detractors that an overtake from behind in the pit lane is is impossible now! Simple physics.
For Sure!!

Don't go stating the obvious in here. There are some who don't like it!

It's obvious from the footage that the cars were alongside each other with Vettel being slightly in front (Hamilton's front wheel was in front of Vettel's rear wheel). And they stayed that way until Hamilton was forced to back off by Vettel squeezing him towards the wall at the end of the pitlane.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Hamilton desperate.  =D>

Hamilton is very comfortable at the moment. If anyone is desperate it's Button. After Hamilton was in p2, that is when the cookie started to crumble; sliding off track asking for updates every sector. I could see it in his dad's face as well, that man looked like he saw a ghost.
11 points is nothing 2 results over Button can't fix. A win here a podium there, or 2 podiums above Button and Lewis is clear. Then he focuses on keeping the redbulls behind.
Infact he is in a much better position than the beginning of last year. Come Europe all the Hami haters will get an overload of Hamilton in the post race press conference.

Button is an easier teammate to deal with. He is more predictable than Alonso, and the few tricks he has, have been played twice. On the track straight up, no pitstop games, Button is Hami food. Just like how Vettel was chewed up and spit out in China!
For Sure!!

Some think it's possible for 2 cars to be moving at the same exact speed, and one overtake the other.

edit: Oh wait, let me correct myself, I forgot it's Hamilton we are dealing with here, so he breaks all laws; even the laws of physics!
For Sure!!

You wish. Kudos to Jenson for those edgy calls rightfully earning him 2 wins, but the most whe has achieved so far in the dry is 8th place. He has a lot of way to go to prove himself against Lewis, which he can't - because simply Lewis is faster and more skilled than him. And in the dry races (of which the majority of a season consists of) favors speed and skill rather than strategic calls.

I think there were several drivers in the Chinese GP that were acting a bit silly. Even the BBC 1 commentary picked up on it, and they miss quite a few things. Maybe it was down to a topsy, turvey race with wild tyre changes, safety cars and rain that got all the drivers get a bit on edge and loose some of their better judgement. Who knows?!

Hopefully Barcelona will be more straight forward.

lol. Ask someone who is not british  He creates dangerous situations every season, have got more penalties than any other driver in the recent years and he still doesn't get it. Maybe one/two race ban would knock some sense to him #-o
Because he is simply too good, too fast for your guy to keep up with. I'm not British. So there you go.

I'm not a fanboy of either (really any driver .. I like them all for different reasons), but I will point out that Button also out qualified Hamilton on Saturday in perfect conditions. So I think this discussion has pretty much evolved into fan boy ying yang.

I was trying to have a serious discussion about the senseless risks (IMO) that Hamilton has been displaying this year, that's all.

Otherwise known as "boring"...

If we have a race where the front 6 on the grid end up in more or less the same places at the end with just one tyre change each then it will be little better than Bahrain. And that was boring.

It will mean that this forum will be quiet though

Nah, I was meaning less controversay. I hope there is good close racing but without the need for any debacle. :?

At least in Spain they should be able to overtake. Well, that's the theory at least.

Haha, you wish. Look up. Oh maybe you shouldn't. Some people really love turning their faces away from the FACTS.
