Whichever PU Red Bull go with it it will only be a stop gap while they develop their own with Ilmor. They have already built a new building underground at Tilbrook for this sole purpose. Let's see what happens if they can't get it right either!

Red Bulls biggest problem in getting a new engine supply could be the way they have acted towards their current engine supplier (and also tyre supplier) they have damaged the brands of their partners with constand blaming, bad mouthing and threats. Why would Mercedes want to associate themselves with a Toxic brand likle that?

I can't remember any negative comments on Pirelli this year.

I also recongized that RB changed the "way of their critisism". In the last few races / weeks they only say, that they lose a lot on the straights. They don't say it is because of the Renault PU why there is such a big gap to the front runners.

Even last weekend when an almost new ICE on RIC's car terminally damaged, there has been no public blaming on Renault.

According to this, it's a definitive "go away" from the Mercedes board.

I think Honda will be their only option. Maybe STR will take Honda engines too. Could work work out well.

Ferrari want as many of their engines in the grid as possible, not only as it gives them more data feedback, but also more political leverage.
