I think I'm due a go. You'll need to know your McLaren history for this one.

Caption reads: "He was starting to get nervous about his bet with Ron Dennis that he could drive the car while handcuffed."

As for guessing the track, you've got me. The best I can come up with is that the car is an MP4/1

Wouldn't that be old Tommy Byrne's test at Silverstone?

gridwalker is correct, it was Tommy Byrne at Silverstone in 82

There's a fascinating story to that test ... http://jalopnik.com/tommy-byrne/

He was incredibly quick, but a bit too maverick for Ron Dennis ....
We'd picked up a couple of girls and we brought them to the test, which probably created a bad impression. I mean, she looked like a whore. She wasn't, but she wore lots of make-up and a skirt that barely covered her arse

If anyone is interested in seeing footage from Tommy Byrne's test from 82, I will be posting a 10 minute video in the "New Videos" thread ...

Edit : Damn, I just noticed that the video I was posting is actually shown in the article referenced by Richard. I was watching it whilst waiting for Richard to reply!

ANYWAY, time for my go :
