So, has Rosberg found something or has Hamilton unconsciously given up on the season? If the former then next season will be much more interesting.

The race should be fun, so long as the director is on his game. Watching Vettel coming through should be good and the battle at the front might be interesting if Rosberg is truly in high form.

- Perez
- Six in a row. This championship was not won on track but gifted with reliability and ridiculous decision making. The only part that is worse is fake back-patting support from Mercedes (Lauda) after everything has been decided.

Amazing lap from Rosberg.. After showing his opponent where he has improved and by how much in Q1 plus with a old PU he has thrashed Hamilton. Or Hamilton has lost interest after he won the championship so he doesn't feel the need to push hard and is just driving because he has to.

Hamilton was way off track out the last corner. Track limits? Everyone else tried and stayed within track

He would lost even more if he kept his car within limits

There is no advantaged gained at the last corner hence track limits don't apply there.

What's interesting to see it's Rosberg speed traps in S2 after Q2 (he was 10 kph slower than Lewis, yet only a tenth down) and being quicker by a tenth in S1 in all of the sessions but most of all by a wooping 3 tenths in the technical S3 sector of the track where Lewis seems to always has had the upper hand.
I think it's down to Lewis's setup for the race, with a bias for protecting the rear tyres more (that's why he was sliding more in the slow turns) in order to stretch the first stint on SS and looking for an alternative race strategy, having in mind what was happening in Brazil's race, don't you think?

And looking at Rosberg's PU issue I think this time he just have to be patient and just preserve the rears and it's just what he's doing right now, isn't it?

This championship was won on track because Rosberg didn't perform when it mattered. Yes Nico was unlucky with the Russia retirement, but he has some blame in the Monza retirement. And then there's also the luck Lewis had in Singapore to take into account. We saw data earlier in the season about that time showing Lewis had saved about 300km more mileage on his engines than Nico. Had Lewis been in the same position in that race his engine maybe wouldn't have given way. You're getting really, really boring, making this same point every week.

If I remember correctly Rosberg at Monza had a message from his engineer to "give everything" (or something similar) and when he used a more aggressive map the engine blew.

Perez is the man of the day imo and Rosberg did a wonderful lap!

Yes, but that doesn't change the fact he could have made the situation a lot better for himself by using the same techniques as Lewis to save mileage. That engine was always on the limit going into the race, the engineers did not know how far they could push it.

"Hamilton is the best, can`t do anything wrong" squad strikes again, 6th time in a row

Of course it`s impossible that Rosberg did a better lap or upped his game.
