F1 races could be interesting if the tyre allocation allowed an element of strategy, even in the dry.

Hopefully for this race the heat and type of turns allow the prime tires to be almost as competitive as the options.

And good night to the Californians! :D You will be tired when qualifying starts.

All teams are expected to run soft tyres and low fuel this session. The option is expected to stand up well to a long stint.

Alonso leads with 1:34,514. Rosberg has no laps.

Petrov takes an outing into the gravel.

Rain could hit in 5 minutes. Teams are calling drivers in for option tyres.

Hello everyone! Good morning! Just signed in; It's a shame I can't follow FP3 today, am in office and the bandwidth here won't allow the live timing from formula1.com .

Will really appreciate forum members posting updates.

How is the weather there right now?!!

Hi WhiteBlue,

Where do you follow the livestream?

Are Ferrari and Red Bull on the primes? Maybe they will start the race on the harder compound?

Those live timing screen-caps are from Formula1.com

It's looking like the Hamster might have a lock on pole later if the weather conditions don't change too much.

Only the livetiming? How do you know which tyres they are using then?
Yeah, great for Hamilton, but the redbulls look quick now.

Whoops! Webber just took P1 from Hamilton by 0.017. Vettel and Alonso are also on the move, taking P3 and P4 respectively, demoting Schumi to P5.
