malaysia was a freak race and unchartered territory with these new tryes, not helped by lewis bein given set of old hards.
On the red button interview with Hamilton after todays race, he referred back to being upset at the end of Sepang, after twice asking his team for the option during his pit stops only to be turned around on the prime (both times). Therefore it wasn't quite the case that the wrong set of primes had been put on his car. It seems that that the team's view (McLaren strategists?), was the the prime was better for the middle-stint than the option. Strange decision I thought at the time as everyone else was on the option. The prime is not as durable and neither as quick as the option.raymondu999 wrote:who was sent out on the prime?
