09:42 Vettel sets a new fastest time for the day on unmarked mediums - 1m24.628s for the Ferrari.

Fastest we've seen from Ferrari on mediums (unmarked should be exactly the same, just made in a different factory).

Did Rosberg do a 1m24.5 yesterday?

Button has done a 8 lap stint with experimental medium with laps times between 1,285 and 1,29.

Vettel has just done 1,24611 with mediums and he is maintaining the same pace(more or less) a few laps more.

From Autosport

There’s been lots of interest in how the speed trap figures are looking in testing. Here’s how the drivers stacked up in the main speed trap, situated just before Turn 1, yesterday:

Nasr (Sauber), 346.1km/h
Magnussen (Renault), 341.7km/h
Hamilton (Mercedes), 338.5km/h
Bottas (Williams), 337.5km/h
Haryanto (Manor), 336.4km/h
Verstappen (Toro Rosso), 334.3km/h
Raikkonen (Ferrari), 332.3km/h
Gutierrez (Haas), 331.2km/h
Hulkenberg (Force India), 331.2km/h
Rosberg (Mercedes), 327.2km/h
Alonso (McLaren), 326.2km/h
Kvyat (Red Bull), 322.3km/h

Is it me or are this Renault works team beginning to look handy?

They've just gone quicker than McHonda and Force India I think on the same (soft) tyre.

Speed traps clocked them nicely too. Has the works team cracked the code on the power unit?

OK cool, thanks. Then that's consistent with the 1.3s gap from medium to soft that motorsport benchmarked, which is interesting.

I dont take those speed traps too seriously after taking a look to this:

Hulkenberg (Force India), 331.2km/h
Rosberg (Mercedes), 327.2km/h
Alonso (McLaren), 326.2km/h

Two Mercedes powered cars between the slowest...

FI only 5 kph off the works team. And Red Bull 'inspired' cars slowest (maybe highest downforce?)

But then again... it's just testing

Haas is certainly learning that F1 isn't as easy as just turning up and flooring it.

I don't know about Force India but Button was on a 10 lap stint when he did his lap, Magnussen was doing a quali simulation I believe.

Just heard that Jenson Button's fast lap was on mediums!
