HRT F111 Cosworth

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

HRT are running Cosworth in 2012. One's left to wonder who spreads these ridiculous rumours. There was the same nonsense with the claim that Caterham was building their chassis.

Doesn't look bad at all in plain white.

My point being that without the lame livery it looks good. Regardless of the shade of white, as long as it is removed of decals and such. Capisci?

Okay its just very low.
But i guess i still wouldnt be legal under 2012 nose regs.
The point where it starts to angle downwards is still to far ahead isnt it?

I think so. If someone could find a good side on picture of the car they could overlay the pic scarbs did for the nose regs. Then we could be sure.

I quite like it - but not as much as last year's colour scheme.

I think they are hiding a mercury anti-dive suspension system and a F-duct front wing - why else would they be waiting so long to unveil?

It would be nice if it had a BGP colour scheme, or white with gold accents :D

Why are they waiting so long? Is it possible that they are the weakest team in F1, and maybe should not be in F1 at all? I have no personal interest in the team, positive or negative, but they do bring to mind the sad farces of Andrea Moda and other F1 disasters (Tecno, Footwork, Merzario, ad nauseum). Sorry, don't mean to be nasty, but HRT might want to give F2 a try.
