You should add the official F1 calendar to any electronic calendar application that you use: https://www.formula1.com/en/racing/2024.html

Click Sync.

I know about all these things. I was more just making a point. F1 has only ever had a race on Saturday once which was only last year. Well if you consider Saturday night midnight Saturday... Liberty wouldn't have ran into this if the season wasn't so damn long. But Liberty are going to squeeze aa much money out as possible

This is blown way out of proportion.
It really isn't that difficult to look up the schedule once before the season starts.

FP1 has been oddly close considering testing. FP2 should be far more representative from a conditions perspective though.

We'll see how low the numbers are after the weekend because people expected it to be on Sunday

Super slow lap times, still a tenth slower than last year fp1. Let's wait for fp2

Bit of a boring session. Hope FP2 and FP3 are a little more interesting

Ferrari and Merc long runs looking good. Piastri a bit adrift

Merc long runs didn't look great, IMO. Quite a bit of deg on that stint for HAM.

In comparison, no deg for VER and LEC.

FP1 in Bahrain is really only watched because it is the first official session of the season... otherwise it is one of the most unrepresentative sessions of the year. Let's all calm down a bit

Big teams not doing much some stints on mediums, assume Haas were doing some sort of program as well, not looking good for Alpine, few complaints on radio.

Everybody on fresh engines that have to last til the year 2142, so yea, they are all gonna be taking it pretty easy.

Makes sense considering you have a record number of races this year (24) PLUS 6 Sprint races... and they reduced the number of engine allocations per team by 1 I believe. I can see some teams doing what Mercedes did a couple of years back and add two engines one weekends towards the latter part of the season.
