Problem being is that we are at the mercy of both merc and ferrari along with oscar too.
What we need is to reel off a series of wins with numerous cars in between lando and max. This will also see max become more edgy and yield a higher chance of accidents and dnf's as frustration and desperation creeps in.
For now I would just concentrate on monza. Even IF we are faster there I can't imagine there will be much separating mclaren, merc and verstappen.
WDC definitely is unlikely and if Lando manages to win it, it will be one of biggest comeback stories in F1 history.
I don't think it will happen but the team has to do all it can to put Verstappen under as much pressure as possible. People make mistakes when put under pressure. There are 9 races left, Verstappen can have a DNF, bad qualifying or an engine penalty.
