I might be wrong, but it looked to me as if Button BEAT Vettel in Montreal... so I guess he's one of those men?

Button victory is like rubbing salt into the Lewis's wound. I am guessing that Lewis/Jenson honeymoon days could possible be over and we will see more on track rivalry between the 2.

Vettel should be happy with this situation.

Doubt it.

Regardless, Vettel has still won this championship. The only way anyone can challenge for the title now is if Vettel has some DNFs.

If Vettel and RBR continue their form for another 2 to 3 races, will top teams abandon the 2011 championship and concentrate on 2012 challenger instead.

If that happen, then the only driver left to challenge Vettel will be Webber

How many races more must he win until he has won it?

If that happens, RBR could slightly downgrade Webber's car, and also start on their 2012 car.

It must reach a stage where if he DNF the rest of the races he cannot lose.
For example if with 3 races to go, he as a 75 point gap to the next guy.

So it will be a while, but if second is the worst he can do so far, it's in the bag.

Got to hand it to the kid. He's really the next shumacher.

At the current rate mathematically he will seal it in Singapore/Suzuka

Although mathematically the race is not over, in (common sense) reality, it is over. I agree with the sentences I bolded. He has earned it. He does not have the questionable reputation of Schu/Senna/Hamilton. He seems to drive fair and square. I am a Schu fan, but what he and Ferrari did was not (IMHO) good for F1. And if Vettel/RBR continue this way, it won't be good for F1 either. During the 'Dream Team" era, F1 attendance and TV ratings went down (SOURCE: AutoSport print editions) -- Vettel/RBR domination could have the same effect.

True, did not think about that actually, thanks.

Yea i´m starting to softening up some towards the guy, i like to think it´s mainly the car but then we would see Webber 2nd all the time.

Only wish for me would be to see him in the same car as one of the other two greats.

Mathematically speaking, If you just double the current situation (60 points ahead, at 7 races in) we have him at 120 points ahead, 14 races in (5 races left) so that would be 5 points off sealing it.

I'm not talking about personality or skill.
But if we were to write down a equation to get this kind of success, i think he along with the car, and i stress the car ticks most of the boxes.

I don't think he's the best driver out there. But i think he is making the best of what he has.

The team, the car, etc. All seem to be in harmony with him more than Webber.

So on that basis, he's following shumacher's driving and environment conducive to winning from the front.
For Sure!!

The biggest thing Vettel has got going for him at the moment other than a superior car is he has no clear rival. The four drivers behind him are all taking points off each other so none of them are really gaining ground.
