Agreed. the pit straight or the straight between turns 3 and 4 should be the DRS zone.raymondu999 wrote:With the longest straight in Formula 1 history; I just hope; I just absolutely hope; that they don't put the DRS zone in a super long zone and make it a contrived mickey mouse push to pass
Yeah but, on f1 2010-11 you can actually be quicker with a VERY SLIGHT ligt through 16 because you stay that little bit tidier and have bettel line through the long 17 and carry slightly more speed onto the straight. Besides in 2011 with it's newfound highspeed oversteer you really NEED to give it a slight lift through 16raymondu999 wrote:Interesting. I always thought 16 was a flat out kink; and drove as such in F1 2010/2011
Apparently they lift ever so slightly for 16. 7-8 was actually f-ductable from last year.

I quite agree about 2011. The high speed oversteer on that game makes it so much more fun than 2010.Oh and you're right about turn 16 in f1 2010. It's just 2011 where I need to lift.raymondu999 wrote:I don't find that to be quite the case to be honest. I can still manage to hug the inside wall for 17 even with no lift on 16 in 2010. That was in the McLaren. As an aside; I actually love the twitchiness in F1 2011! I think it's fantastic I love it when I'm in a grand prix and the rear is twitching to no end on a long parabolic straight; like the pit straight in Carlos Pace
