Aaron Melvin Head of Aerodynamics at Haas has left the team, he's been replaced with former Head of Aero Operations Davide Paganelli

Head of Aero Performance Group at Williams Yannick Ducret has joined Alpine in the same position.

What about under Vowls at Williams? They get engines from Merc, but it still needs someone to optimise? He has the experience from both sides

I read a report that the link to Alpine has cooled, no reason given, but things change quickly in F1, so you never know.

How can a supplied power unite be optimized other than the possibility of improving on the installation.

Someone has to handle things. How much leeway is probably small, but all companies have an 'expert' in charge of goods-inward to deal with suppliers, from a corner shop on up

Probably irrelevant anyway as if Williams wanted one they would be looking or already have one

People often forget he is Swiss. And Audi will be based just outside Zurich
