True many of Fangio's best results came in superior cars, and he changed car very often...

...but how do you think he was capable to do this, teams with superior cars dont just hire any driver (usually lol).

Fangio was able to jump from team to team and put himself in the best position to mount a championship challenge because everybody wanted to have Fangio on their team, because he was the best.

Hence the same argument for Schumacher's record is also a moot point, and to consider when he got to Ferrari the team was not really any good....

Yeah thats one of the reason's I have so much respect (if not much liking) for schumi. To go from one team (Benetton) and go to another (Ferrari) you must be seriosuly good to convince major team player to go with you (Bryne & Brawn et al).

He helped turn the team around with those two.

But i still dont rate him as highly as some others.
