not correct. They said its all 2016.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

Ok, My bad.
I could have sworn I read somewhere on these forums that they want to compare data to last years ERS.

my running guess Day1:

Sauber 140 Laps
Merc 120 Laps
Fer 80 Laps
Williams 70 Laps
RB 65
Renault 60
TR55
FI 50
HAAS 45
Manor 40
McLaren 35
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

I think Ron debunked that 2015 engine gossip.
I also read they won't know where they stand until the end of the 2nd test week. Makes sense as they don't want to push things to the max right away and lose precious time fixing things or waiting for parts, again.

""Our focus will be to test the car's balance with the new chassis and power unit, and specifically the ERS direction during the eight days of winter testing.

"We won't know exactly where we stand until we reach the end of the two tests, but we're looking forward to getting back on track, gathering data, and feeding back the information to our engineers so as to prepare for Melbourne and onwards." Arai.

Does anyone know what engine Sauber will run? I imagine that Ferrari would want as much data as possible, but would it even be possible to mount in the C34?

I wondered that too. It would also give Sauber themselves more useful data from this test if they can try something they'll actually use in 2016. Otherwise it's just a tyre test for them.

Does anyone have timing on the F1 app? Mine updated a few days ago but only shows the races.

EDIT: Okay, it's in Results and Standings > Test

Go to results and standings then go to TEST
The cheapest sort of pride is national pride, every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud adopts, as a last resource, pride in the nation to which he belongs; thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.

This is the (one and only) timing screen on the F1 app.
