Isn't the upper main plate different a bit....lower DF ?

I guess this can change during the week but what I see now is pretty much the same setup we see everywhere.

That's a low downforce setup for MTL is the same we run everywhere. Basically no lower rear wing at all.

I'm glad they listened to my advice about the endplate being attached to the wing.
:)

I think the wing they introduced in Spain also had a "big" gurney flap on the top element, which doesn't seem to be there anymore. But that may just be a low DF setup.

Taken from posts on the other forum. I think there are some that don't read that forum so I'm posting this primarily for their benefit.

The changes that I can see are; the front wing end plates, the front brake ducts (both the part circled in red and the shroud around the brake disks are new {the shroud looks like it has extra openings that try to spread the heated brake airflow onto the wheel rim more to try to get some more heat into the front tyres}), the rear wing looks to have a slightly different shape (lower downforce) and finally (probably the biggest change that I can see concerning trying to cure this oversteer problem), the floor around the rear wheels seems to be much closer to the rear wheels now.

Can anybody see anything else?

McLaren must be really happy with their Turning Vanes. They seem to be about the only Thing on the Car that hasn't changed since the beginning of the Season. Though they look quite simple in comparison to other Teams.

And i wonder if they have a lower DF Rear Wing to try. The one on the Pictures above looks quite meaty.

How increasing drag would be a good sign?

Sign of an engine that needs more air? FWIW, I would have thought that to increase the air intake they would have to change the chassis completely, so it'd seem unlikely.

Also, what is with the dimples either side of the pirelli logo on the nose?

Are those winglets between the diffuser and rear wheel sucking hot air from the wheel and over the diffuser?

Always find the gap then use it.
