Good news too for the Williams vs Force India battle for 4th too. Doesn't look like it will be affected by reliability issues like heavy grid drops.

- I wouldn't worry though, new engines can explode too like at Monza '15 and Mercedes have many tricks up their sleeves, one run in Q3, bad iPhone that adds time to pitstop, bad pitstop, late pitstop, undercut for a team-mate, wrong tyres, contamination, glued pedal, strategy: no info on tyres like (->on topic<-) last year in Malaysia.
- What about the threat of third reprimand for LH? If you think that members of FIA aka BHS (Button's, Palmer's and Other Random Drivers' Help Society) will even think about reprimand for Hamilton you are a naive person.

Depends on the condition and properties/abrasiveness of the new tarmac.

If Barcelona is anything to go by, first stop will be before the 10th lap. Sepang gets plenty of use so the track should be worn in by now, but f1 will be the biggest stressor to the track so far.
