both fantastic, but for me the black one hid the halo a little better, thats what swung it for me.

white make me remember Bar Honda and black make me remember Bar Honda testing livery. It looks like it applied last years TR car. It's air inlet. I don't know if Honda will change uppar side of PU.

The Halo can honestly look pretty good if it's well integrated into the paintscheme.

From the side and above it has this raked fighter jet cockpit look, only in the direct headon does the Halo appear ungainly.

I loved the entire concept of that team... That period was when i fell in love with F1, and sadly, been mostly disappointed since.

There are rumors that the Honda PU reaches 700kw but only lasts 2500 km

Each event will use the power unit for ~800km. 305km for the race, then another ~350km for practice, another 100km for qualifying, the rest is formation, parade and installation laps.

So around 17,000km for the season. If the Honda PU only lasts 2,500km that's at least 6 power units.

5 or 6 engines should be fine. I hope there are five units

Honda must find more performance to reach others. I think they have to allow themselves some forced penalties to move faster

Mercedes were already doing over 7000km on the dyno last I heard(Only rumours again though, I think it was on here somewhere). I think they'll do it easily but will be the only one. (Might be the customers who have the best chance as they'll be run more conservatively)

Don't care about hitting 3 PU's a year for Honda, the one thing they've shown in this era is an ability to get on top of reliability eventually so it's power I care about so I'd bite your hand off for that rumour personally and I have no issue with using 6 units.

No offence to STR fans but the goal has to be RB and 2019 so get the power and sort out reliability next winter and I'll take that.

I suppose its not just a new engine more often, which its self is worth performance, but an interim upgrade more often.
How many grid positions dropped are the extra upgrades and being able to run closer to the limit worth?
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

For honda the 3 engine rule might not be so bad.

If they are only going to reach q2 at best dropping back to last is not that bad. Better to rag the life out of the engines use one a race really find the limits of the honda might be faster than trying to save engine for multiple races by reducing power
