Will this be the first race where we will not argue about "it was x driver's fault that y happened"? πŸ˜‚
It was a gift from VER for not wrecking HAM at turn one, so it’s VER fault,

I like the car's podium - works well in dark conditions, at least.

We all think it's a shame that the drivers can't push because of fuel and tyres etc., but those guys look shattered even driving at +6s/lap!

Charlie apologising to Hamilton about blue flags.

Perez brought his bloody minded game today, trying to frighten F1. You could almost hear nuclear weapons blowing up between his ears.
Someone please get the lad a nanny before he does injury to someone else or himself.

Another disappointing day from Bottas. If Merc had two Bottas, it'd seem like they have the 3rd best chassis on the grid.
Can't Merc pop Ocon into the car for 2019?

Boring race, apart from the antics of the back-markers. Hamilton completely owned that race, and Vettel had nothing on him. I'm surprised Ferrari didn't consider using Raikkonen as a roadblock!

Yeah, its a really beautiful innovation.
I was thinking the same about the trophy too. Can't decide which is the most beautiful between this one and the lovely porcelain one at Spa(?).

Budapest 2016 is my favourite I think.

How can u say Bottas is not good enough? He is doing exactly what he is supposed to. He is helping Lewis when in need, and he is helping the team to secure the constructors title by keeping Raikkonen at bay.

Lets take a look at Racing point, where u have two independent drivers which are more or less the same in terms of pace. Another race where one pushed the other into a wall and a big fat zero in the end of the day.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

Nice catch. That's the one I meant indeed.
It's just beautiful, exquisite.

Today's is great too; sort of a symmetric cross between an angel and a flame - but just falls away from matching that one.

Tomorrow, the reality is that Hamilton doesn't need to win. He can happily come second to Verstappen or even Vettel. Vettel needs the win, or at least to be ahead of someone ahead of Hamilton. That means Hamilton can afford to let Max through in turn 1 and block Vettel, heck, he could even go P3 and still be reasonably happy. Indeed, P3 with Vettel P2 wouldn't be the worst outcome - only 3 points lost rather than 7 if he comes P2 to Vettel's P1.

So Hamilton can play the long game a bit. I could see Max wanging one up the inside, Vettel trying to follow. All three out, Kimi or Bottas wins. Again, Hamilton wouldn't be too upset by that outcome.
But the reality is max does not care about lewis. He does not give anything about what happens to him. Lewis is in de crosshair of verstappen. And if he stays there there will be a dnf for him.

No way verstappen will alow hami a win, will not happen. Its dnf or second for hami. Redbull is strong enough on racepace hami will not escape his faith

There will be no long game. There will straight up attack first round of the race when the tires are still warming up,
And no drs...you can bet on that
Just reflecting on the prediction that Max would not allow Lewis to win. =D>

How do you know Ocon would do better? Ocon is struggling to beat Sergio Perez, for crying out loud.

Yeah I was about to comment that I like today's trophy but didn't as I recalled this one XD. But I like it and I like the dish-shaped ones too. Bahrain also had a beautiful one and I'm trying to remember the circular one with the decorated border. Can't find it so far.

This Singaporean one has these wings, probably symbolic of Singapore Airlines. Very pretty.
