The official crash tests for the RB15 will be on Thursday, after which the launch will be decided.
The first functional test will take place at Silverstone, away from the public. Depending on the result of the first crash tests, sooner or later. "It's always close, but now we've taught Newey that the first official test day is not a launch for functional tests," said Helmut Marko.

Not a change in the technical regulations but a change in the sporting regs that may have a knock-on effect on the technical layout of the car. The maximum fuel allowance for the race is rising from 105kg to 110kg, which will entail a slightly larger fuel bladder. Or, not. There’s no obligation for teams to use more fuel, and thus no obligation to design a car with a bigger tank.

Then Max has everything together to make it.
So that'll be Gasly being considered/treated as Number 2 driver then.

Yes, this has been already posted, I think in the General Honda-Thread. Nothing too serious, typical Bild-ish Story.

Honda already reacted to that inaccurate article.

The report from the German outlet, Autobild, claiming that Honda terminated its partnership with AVL, shook the Japanese motorsport world in the New Year. However, Honda has denied these reports 100%.

Reports of us terminating our partnership contract with AVL is inaccurate, simply because we didn't have a contract with AVL to begin with. (source Honda).
So Autobild's report is clearly inaccurate. However, it's also true that Honda was plagued by oscillation in '17 and '18. Have they resolved that for '19?

This year’s car launch will show off what we’ve been getting up to over the winter break, including of course, a brand-new design. With big physical and cosmetic changes this year, we’ve been hard at work in Milton Keynes making the best Bull we can.

We’ve always had fun with our car launches and this year will be no exception. Our mouth is sealed for now, though, so you’ll have to wait a bit longer!

The general idea has not change since their first season (and even before that with Sauber. I don't think will see much more change than a bit of Honda.

Rather than clog up the thread with talk about possible colour schemes, could we please discuss the actual car and its hardware. Please?

This is the team thread, we can talk about things relating to the team, car speculation belongs in the car thread.

there are 2 threads bud. but as long as everybody keeps posting here, it keeps confusing people.
i have brought this to the mods attention but i think even the mods are confused and not aware that there are 2 team threads, apart from a car thread too.
