Crap, i submitted the wrong zip file.
Did you at least fix your radiator issue?
I sended the Suzuka car so, no that has not the fixed radiator.

Well that is too bad #-o . At least with the size and strength of the field, it is easy to predict how many championship points you will score.

The new MFlow version is finally up. It takes care of the issue, one or two teams faced, with the early solver termination and has a bunch of goodies.

Hi Andre, the pitch path encoding seems completely broken now:

surfaceTransformPoints -yawPitchRoll "(0 -1 0)" $CASE/"E:/CFD/2019f1_mk05_0016_RAKE\input_files\geometry\high_res_surfaces\BargeWing_L_MK05_0012.stl" $CASE/constant/triSurface/BargeWing_L_MK05_0012.stl

I can confirm the same behavior.

OK, I will fix that tomorrow morning. A bit strange, you are both using Windows?

Hi Andre, I'm not getting any of the speed slices neither the speed or pressure meshes, But this is not from the new version, it's been happening for a couple of days. Can't see it right on Paraview either.

EDIT: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Hi Andre, I think I found the bad geometry. Running again to see if everything returns.

Hi all,

I have a question related to postrpocesing with paraview.

I noticed that on my cases, there is no calculations for "wall shear stress", which I found is useful according some tuturials.

Image

Is there an option to be included?

It is not exported by MFlow, but you can find a vtk model of your car with the near wall velocity in the postProcessing folder.
If you really want to have the wall shear stresses, you could use OF to calculate them (Paraview is possible but not a good idea for this):
https://cfd.direct/openfoam/user-guide/ ... ssing-cli/
If people really, really want this, I could add it to MFlow, but the images would look exactly like the near wall velocity images.

The pattern, you see on your sidepods, indicates an open geometry which could mess up your results.

Is there a way to load the near wall velocity in paraview.

The end goal is to get an image like this:

In one tutorial its shown by wallShearStress plus Surface LIC

Yes. Load the U_nearWalls.vtk in Paraview, then use SurfaceLIC (check out on the web how to activate it). You can also use SurfaceLIC on certain other surfaces (section planes,...)

Some post needed to be done in OF to get this running, I’ll try to find it. If you search the 2017/2028 threads it should be there.

Wow, it was there all the time :)

Thanks a lot mate!

Thanks for this.

I have uploaded a fix of the newest MFlow version. Sorry about the trouble on that.
