Ferrari looked good on harder tires. I think Ferrari will take the pole. Merc is 2nd in my opinion Redbul 3rd.

Also FINALLY electronic sensor to deal with the track limits
Lets hope its a better sensor than the jump start sensors :? 8)
Even if the sensors were better we'd still need common sense that's missing :P
I agree. It's really awful when someone jumpstarts and wins because of that!

The asymmetrical engine cover outlet on the Renault looks so weird.

Where did that Gasly lap in medium tyres come from? Almost quicker than Max on same tyre. Too bad he messed up his soft run.

Hamilton is really having a very average season, hope he turns it around for qualifying.

Leclerc started his race sim on new Softs. Don't the teams usually do their first sim stint on used tyres to do a proper sim? Ferrari might plan to start the race on Mediums.

Does it get hotter from now to sunday? Might change what teams think in terms of strategy.
Surprised at Verstappen's pace, still i think second row is as far as he goes, Ferrari's party mode just has more sauce than everyone else.
Mercedes also appears to be running really low on power today, they might be in the battle with Max tomorrow.

I don't think he did. Not according to the official timing page at least

Well, that's what they've shown on official TV coverage. Tyre usage: 0 laps.

It was british Sky F1 btw, but I don't think it makes any difference.
