Looks like it has stopped raining could still be a dry start.
Damn! I bet on Russel for a podium so that puts a dampener on that
Don’t know if you’re serious or not but if so,out of curiosity, what were the odds?

I wonder whether this will be an inter start or dry, some teams could take a risk on a different tyre choice.

The goal being not to ensure all PUs are compliant, but to assist with allocating said budget cap appropriately in the team based on a better understanding of where one team is strong or weak relative to another.
I'd be raising holly hell if something like this ever happened, talk about and anti competition methodology.
Sorry I don't understand? It's just a more precise measurement of what the teams already get from the FIA (better quality GPS data than the public)
Power curves etc are a good order of magnitude or more valuable than gps data. With GPS data the other teams have to do a lot more work. For example they have to try and estimate/account for how much downforce/drag their opponents have across the velocity envelope, how good their opponents suspension system is etc. Power curves make all that work go away.

Yeah, that's my point exactly. Sorry I thought you didn't understand earlier and misread my post. I guess you just don't agree. IMO It would make estimating where one team is relative to the other more accurate, which let's ones allocate resources more efficiently and improve competition. Not anticompetitive afaict, but more competitive. But each to their own.
