Really rookie mistake by Hamilton but with no damage or any consecuence. Was he trying to force Bottas to slow down knowing his lap wasn't good? Similar to Bottas in Austria?

Ahh those little dirty tricks Mercedes drivers play...
What is the use for Lewis to do that in first ever lap of Q2? very well knowing he could ruin his tyre and miss Q3 altogether (which he was very close). And that too without even setting one timed lap in qualifying :?
But did he prevent Bottas from setting even better time?
No!

I'm not really serious, but I have heard some many stupid theories(for example Bottas causing yellow flags in Austria), so I can suggest couple of my own.
When suggesting couple of your own, please make sure it is atleast logical!

Juzh, no more telemetry vids?

If anybody has the access, would love some telemetry vids of this quali session.

F1TV Pro still non-existent in this part of the world.

Yeah failed by -0.3 tenths to Bottas, on both Q3 laps
Yeah just 0.3 tenths in not good, he should have -1.4 sec failure gap like in Styrian GP

Hulkenberg will have to start from the pit lane. Problem with the car so they couldn’t get to the grid in time.

What a shame. Hope they get it fixed so he can race at all.

might be better for him to start on hards and then switch to mediums at the end.

Gutted for Hulkenberg if he isnt starting. That is just so not fair.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Albon punts a car off the track who was going past him round the outside.
