The race in Finland has been canceled for this year as well. Instead of that race summer break will start two weeks earlier than originally planned and will end a week earlier than originally planned. After the summer break instead of race in Finland we will have a double header in Austria.

Another good effort from Jack Miller on the factory Ducati - to win the French G.P. in real wild weather.

Tough luck for M.M. though, & he appeared quite emotionally upset afterwards, unusually for him.

Suzuki had a literally 'throw away' result, while Aprilia oddly enough had a pair of mech-fail DNF's.
"Well, we knocked the bastard off!"

Ed Hilary on being 1st to top Mt Everest,
(& 1st to do a surface traverse across Antarctica,
in good Kiwi style - riding a Massey Ferguson farm
tractor - with a few extemporised mod's to hack the task).

MM can´t prevent himself from going flat out, not even after several surgeries and in difficult/wet conditions, but at least he proved the speed is still there. He was 1.6 seconds faster than Miller before crashing (second)! :wtf:

What a weird race with so many crashes and recoveries, for example Bagnaia went from 19th to 4th

it would be wise for marc to not ignore his current condition and take it a bit easy through the recovery and strength building phase. if he can avoid harming himself and make good physical recovery, he could win a whole bunch of races towards the end of the season. even with this physical condition, he made the other riders look second class.

He said he was thinking to swap dry bike. If he didn't crash race could be exciting.

i have only seen Moto3 race so far so I won't be commenting on racing this weekend yet.

But there is yet anoyher rider who went through a surgery for an arm pump. This time it was Aleix Espargaro

I feel like this year in MotoGP they have some sort of "pandemic" of an arm pump problem. Or they just weren't talking about it as much before?

As far as I can tell, it is just a perception, that it is way more common. Simon Crafar also talked about it and that procedure was also done in his time.
This article from 2012 says that almost all bike racer get sometimes problems with armpump. But on the other hand, I don't think most Italian riders have problems with armpump. Might be a different training regime than for the Spaniards.

That´s quite normal. Probably this season with the restrictions there are some more, but nothing new

Michelle Pirro will replace Martin at Pramac for Italian GP. After consulting with doctors Ducati and Martin decided to postpone his return for Catalan GP.

19 year old Moto3 rider Jason Dupasquier has died in hospital after getting heavily injured in a crash in yesterdays Q2 for Moto3.

In the accident he fell down on the exit of T10 with Ayumu Sasaki and Jeremy Alcoba following him closely both being included in that accident. One of them had hit him whilst unable to avoid him and from those injuries he died today.

RIP.

Yeah sad news at such a young age.

Meanwhile in MotoGP Marc marquez ruins someone elses race again. Franco had no where to go. And Pecco throws away the chance to be a living legend.
