Those stats are made up. not sure what F1 is looking at, not laptime, that's for sure. Based on the numbers I saw on the FIA website Norris's race pace is 2 to 3 tenth slower that Alonso. That and Alonso did 14 laps always around 1:26.5 with little to no drop off while Norris's times dropped significantly after 10 laps.

How they judged Ferrari race pace based on the lap times I saw I have no idea.
Yeah, randomly pulled them from an non-reliable source. FP3 ongoing as I write, Alpine do look quicker. Alonso faster with no tow is ominous.

Lando middle sector was pretty poor, he was definitely too close for the middle sector, don't know if the tow is worth it to be honest, lose too much time in middle sector... overall the car just lacks rotation in both lesmo's, still think the Alpine's has a 1-2 tenth advantage. but better than I expected for Monza too be honest so far.

Daniel aborted his first lap, then did his time on his second lap, second lap looked clean.

Yeah it’s been pretty much as predicted from FP1 on. Top speed is decent. Just the way it gets there seems to down on its competitors. Is it the rear suspension layout that’s limiting traction? Or a combo of gearing/ers (drivability) and suspension. Be good if sky could ask the question when they have Seidl for quali. But it’s a whole lot better than i would have predicted before the weekend started

McLaren need to work on their timing, Lando barely made it across the line to do his qually sim, but Daniel missed out.

The team need to make sure they get the timing right for qualifying!

Lando did, but Daniel crossed the line after the flag dropped.

no they had completed their quali sims well before that, about 20-15 mins before the session ended.. they had just gone back out at the end with higher fuel for grid launches on the same soft tyres - there is a big gap of about 5-6 tenths, but I don't think its that bad, just some bad laps from Daniel... or atleast it shouldn't be because there is very little corners to bleed time.

Looked like they were going for a final single lap run to me.

Daniel got caught behind other drivers doing stupid things several times. I hope some penalties get handed out because there were some near misses and very dangerous slow driving from a number of drivers.

No- they were on high fuel for practice launches. The team said it themselves on the team stream at 12.55. The qualy sims were 15-20mins beforehand.

If Ricciardo is gonna struggle again he might as well help Lando get a tow.

Seems that Lando might have given Daniel a tow.

Both cars in Q3 for once, and only one Alpine. Good effort.
